September 23

I hope you all had an amazing weekend. The first days of fall bring a welcome sense of anticipation—anticipation of cool weather, changing leaves, fall home decor, and, for some, pumpkin-spiced treats. For schools, fall often evokes words like routine, cycle, and finally getting into the rhythm of the school year. As we hopefully settle into a good school routine, I want to remind you of the focus for the year:

Initial Systemic Action.
How can you be intentional and systematic in the actions you take to ensure all students are learning at high levels in your class? This may require trying something different or being a risk-taker with a strategy you’ve never attempted before. Just know that when you take that risk, you are not alone. You have a whole community of experts to lean on for advice and tools they’ve acquired over the years.

I know we will have a wonderful week.
