Pershing Teachers and Staff
I am super excited to welcome you as a part of the Pershing General Family. We are two schools with one big heart for serving all who enter our doors. I know that this school year will be an amazing year because you are a part of our team. The administration team and custodial staff are working hard to make sure that we are fully staffed and the building is ready for when you return.
In the mean time, I would like to personally meet with each of you to get to know you and see what are some next steps we as a school can put in place to ensure that all needs of our Pershing People are being met. It is our goal that you have everything you need to provide the highest level of teaching and learning for all students. Several of you have already stopped by and we have had the pleasure to visit. I look forward to meeting with each of you and I look forward to the amazing things you will do for our kids this year.

Listed below are some important dates and events to remember as we prepare for the start of school.
Activate Week August 16-19
Below is a snapshot of the first week back. There are several events taking place in a short period, so we wanted to provide some clarity on what this looks like for you and your teams:
August 16 (Morning): All staff will attend the SPS Kickoff at Great Southern Arena from 8:30a to 10:30a and carpooling is encouraged!
August 16 (Afternoon): Pershing Kick-OFF
August 17: Teachers will be engaged in their various district Activate sessions on Wednesday; When not at Activate sessions, teachers will have time to work in their rooms.
August 18: Professional Learning and Work time @ Pershing
August 19: Professional Learning (2 hrs) @ Pershing and Work Time
August 22: First day of School
